Snowmen in the Garden 庭の雪だるまたち

The snowmen brought in 2010
with a bright welcome
and with wishes
that we all could
view the world with eyes of children,
think of it with the wisdom
of diversity and sustainability,
feel the world with hearts of compassion,
and act upon it and others in a way
such to leave a better place
and make a greater impression;
as if in each of our relationships
and in each of our interactions
we cared to nurture the whole person,
knowing that some would be fully
impacted by us,
while others may have melted away by dawn.

雪だるまたちが2010年をつれてきた、
明るい歓迎と希望と共に...
みんなが世界を子供たちのように見られますように。
多様性に感謝し、
持続性について賢く考え、
世界を思いやりの心で感じ、
世界をより良い感動的な場所にし、
お互いの関係とお互いの交流を
まるで一人の人の育成を気にかけるように、
私たちが他の人たちに
多大な影響力を与ええることを
思いに留めるよう願っている。
ある人たちは明け方に溶けてしまうけれど。
