The Mole Trail モグラの道
The crooked mole trail is evidence of blindness, how straight would you walk?
He has eyes to see, nature's gift adequete for the mole's use, a voratious appitite for the environmentally useful earthworm, and a destructive result to lawns and gardens, driven by a natural need to survive the limits of his nurishmennt which is twelve hours. Among those whom are resentful of the mole's exsistance are the farmer, the fisherman, the fish, the fowl, and the golfer.
That is a great comment. I guess you can count my neighbor among the mole's enemies. I noticed him spreading some kind of (anti-mole?) fertilizer on his lawn contiguous to our garden and then it seemed like all the moles came our way. Solice in the fact that at least the trails provided a fun moment with camera and pen.
I can realate though to the mole being the golfer's enemy. At Radrick Farms Golf Course behind the 11th green one of the maintenance workers sat quietly with a shovel. I asked hime "What is going on?"
He replied,"I'm waiting to see movement in this mole trail"...and then I'll take corrective action.*
* Of course corrective action is just me paraphrasing.
大学で教える中、庭でリラックスするのが楽しみ。自然界が起こす様々な出来事は、驚きであり、同時に頭をリフレッシュさせてくれます。

I teach at a university and enjoy relaxing in the garden. Nature's work refreshes my mind and often surprises me.
