Lavender ラベンダー

 

Winter's youth
nestled among the lavender,
tucked-in like a child
beneath a blanket of snow;
and were it not
for its clean green complexion
standing in contrast
to the aged,
silvering,
elderly leaves,
we might have missed this babe.

冬の若さが
ラベンダーの中に見られた、
雪の掛け布団の下に
寝かしつけられた子供のように。
もしその鮮やかな緑が
年老いた銀色の葉の中で
コントラストされていなかったら
きっとこの子を見逃していただろう。
