The Lace of Early March

like so many things in life

is comprised of solid and air,

with the air lending its grace

like it does in the ski jump

or for a well struck ball,

providing the affect

and making us wonder

will it ever come back?

生命の多くがそうであるように

固形と空気でできている

まるでスキージャンプのように

遠くまで飛んでいくボールのように

空気によって優雅な

かたちになり

また戻ってくるのだろうかと

私たちに思わせる。
