Pachysandra Survives Winter 冬を生き残ったフッキソウ

The snow that came and stayed

for nearly all of the

last three and a half months,

kept this baby snug next to the

dried brown Red Oak leaves

scattered among the boulders

that divide the front garden.

過去3ヶ月半に

わたって居続けた雪が

前庭を隔てている

大きな岩の周りの

乾いた茶色いレッドオークの葉の下で

この赤ちゃんを

守ってくれた。
