The Junipers Bend ビャクシンの屈曲

These Junipers
victims in the past,
one losing its top
to snow and ice,
the other taken
by thunderstorm;
resigned now
to bend ever more,
in tribute to
the tremendous weight,
delivered from the heavens.

このビャクシンは
過去の犠牲者、
あるものは雪と氷で
頂を失い、
他のものは嵐で倒れ、
天から送られてきた
物凄い重さに因んで、
更なる屈曲を
あきらめてしまった。
