After Midnight 真夜中のあとで

In this late Autumn garden

the Cone Flower hides

among the filtered light

that makes its way

past the taller plants

that have begun

their retreat;

for by the clock

of the growing season,

it is after midnight.

この晩秋の庭で

コーンフラワーが

隠れている、

背の高い植物を

通り抜けた

光の中で。

成長する季節という

時計の真夜中のあとで。
