Head Above Ice 氷の上の頭

These days it's been snow,

a foot, then inches,

then inches more:

but we've had a few moments

to clear the walks,

to dust off the solar lights

that eagerly capture

the winter sun

to make dusk

and the hours beyond

a sparkling array

of kinetic display. 

最近はずっと雪

30cm、そして数センチ

そしてまた数センチ

でも幾度か玄関の前の

小道の雪かきをした

一生懸命

冬の太陽を捕まえる

ソーラーライトの

雪を落とし

夕暮れから

その後の何時間を

キラキラ並んだ

動的なディスプレーを楽しむ
