Juniper Needle Craters 杜松の針のクレーター

Shedding its winter coat
the Juniper falls
bit by bit
into the drifts of snow,
and each needle
with its absorbed heat
and motion stirred by wind
carves its very own crater.
 
冬のコートを落として
杜松が少しずつ
雪の吹き溜まりに
落ちていく、
そしてそれぞれの針は
熱を持ち
風で吹かれて
ユニークなクレーターを彫る。
