Great Lobelia? オオロベリアソウ?
We think this is a fine blue
counterpart to yesterday's
Cardinal Flower,
another wildflower
blooming late summer
and into fall.
Who took that beautiful picture of this green mothership blasting into space, it's blue thrusters glowing in the sunlight of a nearby star? Could it be that "The Great Tuna" is homeward bound to the center of the Universe?
大学で教える中、庭でリラックスするのが楽しみ。自然界が起こす様々な出来事は、驚きであり、同時に頭をリフレッシュさせてくれます。

I teach at a university and enjoy relaxing in the garden. Nature's work refreshes my mind and often surprises me.
