The Weed Brings Yellow 雑草が黄色を運んでくれる

The weed brings yellow

to the snow smattered lawn

that has begun to brown

with the cold days

and even colder nights

sucking the life from the earth,

albeit temporary.

雑草が黄色を運んできた

今だけであるが

地上から命を吸い取り

寒い日々と

寒い夜によって

雪に覆われた

茶色くなった芝生に。
