Blue sky and ice

are putting the

exclaimation mark

on our weather

this December.

It has been freezing

for nearly the whole month

and now it's said

that three days from now

on New Year's Eve

we will start to warm

before the rain moves in

over the weekend,

making it our New Year's first

official January thaw.
