Ocean of Fern シダの海

The waves come in

from a blurred horizon,

growing larger,

more acute as they near

where our feet

touch the sand...

and the sound they make

is deafening,

as if we had been there

forever,

having lost our senses

altogether.

ぼやけた地平線から

波が来た

次第に大きくなって

私たちの足が

砂につくほど近くなるにつれ

もっと鋭くなり。。。

そしてその音は

とても大きく

耳を聞こえなくする

まるで私たちが

そこにずっといるかのように

私たちの感覚までも

失わせてしまった。
