Captured and encased
by the ice
one freezing drip
at a time,
until like a
daylight stalagmite,
the sprig of mint
points accusingly
toward the source
of its winter
imprisonment.
氷によって
一回に付き
一粒の凍ったしずくに
つかまえられて包み込まれた、
昼間の石筍のようになるまで
ミントの小枝は
冬と言う監禁の
源に向かって
責めるように
指さしている。
